Hi everybody!

Just wanted to let you know that Dying Sun 0.94 is going to be up very soon.. a few minor fixes, and the new power regulator quest that lets you increase the fuel efficiency of your sporty Mastercraft™ boat!

Also, on the main intro page, I've tried to use a cool little sea horse that "bounces" around your web browser.. I've only tried it in IE 5.5, so I'm not sure if it works with Netscape or other versions of IE.

If you have the time, can you please visit the intro page
www.deepdarksea.com
and let me know if the little seahorse bounces around? (just post here or drop me a line letting me know... especially users of NS or IE 5.0 or earlier)
Also, there are a few opacity effect on the images.. hold your mouse over the images and you'll see what I mean. (hopefully!)

Thanks for your time!

sea dragon

I hate to sound needy, but throw me a frickin' bone here, people. I've had a grand total of zero(0) responses to my humble inquiry

Can someone check out the intro page

http://www.deepdarksea.com

and let me know if the dancing seahorse/opacity effects are working cross-browser? Just 5 seconds of your time, posting "yeh, they work" and you shall earn my boundless love! Especially if you are using netscape!

Thanks!

Yes the sea horse works for Netscape 4.77.
But I still can't get the game to download.
Netsape says server can not be found.

Hmm, I don't have any problems with the download... It took me about 6 minutes to download the entire file, will try the game later today.

Dying Sun 0.94 is here!!!

It fixes a nasty bug with one of the initial expository cutscenes regarding the "park, and the grass under the feet of the winsome hydroponics specialist".. so if you were getting a lock-up / dark screen error when reading about the scientist's infatuation with real soil and non-cultivated plant species, (or even if you weren't).. please grab the patch!~

Note: I may have failed to mention it, but in the event that the cut scene does give you the dark screen problem, just hit ESCAPE.. it should properly flag the map variables, and make sure that you might continue your journey to learn more about the per capita production of mushrooms in pennsylvania, antique, 1887 comfo-stretch panties with pearl strings, manufactured by Berlotz, synapse-augmenting meta-aug installation chips, pet copperhead snakes, police officers who view pants as extraneous and cumbersome, cocaine-filled teddy bears, handwritten notes, prime number forumula calculations, 20th century modernist lit authors, and pig latin puzzles included too!
No "You hit the orc for 16 points."
Oh no.
No game quite. Like. This.

Hope to see you there!

Hello everyone!

Dying Sun 0.95 should be up later today, and reduces item breakage a bit, and warns you when your food gets too low. A couple of chat glitches are fixed as well.

I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but my site also has the Wizards and Warriors story archive; it's a site devoted to stories based on Wizards and Warriors, and includes some humour sections, and some game tips as well!
