Man, I almost want to ship the game to you guys who can't get it yet! After opening the boxes first thing in the A.M. yesterday at work, it took all my willpower not to suddenly become "sick" and need to go home to play!

Ah...After 4 hours of non-stop play I had a CTD. Probby my 6 year old OS eh?
Anyway, The diplomacy model now has great, great new depth and feels very much alive. There is also some great humor nestled in the game. Reading over how the plebes veiw my faction about had me falling out of my chair. Most likely they would shout a two word insult, with the second word being "Off" Also, if you get a heroic victory in a battle, a little sign shows on the map denoting a significant battle. Very cool! I took out some barbarians that outnumbered me 2-1 to earn one of those. Well, off I go to reboot and restart. No CTD gonna stop me from playing what seems so far to be the greatest game of this type I have had the pleasure of playing. I had to choose between replacing NWN or get this. As much as I miss NWN, I know I made the right choice. Cheers,

I just bought it!
I just got back from the shop and got the game out of the box. I'm about to dive in the instruction manual. The only bad thing is that they put anti theft thing in the inside cover, and whe I removed it it riped a part of it. Oh! and a friend of mine is considering selling me his new Warhammer game because it doesn't work on his computer. Great day for me! [ 09-24-2004, 06:27 PM: Message edited by: Luvian ]

It's fun, I,ve been playing non-stop since this last post.
I just have a some trouble with money. It's pretty hard to make a profit in this game. I completed the tutorial campain and now I started a real one.

Hm.. i just read something about the compatibility requirements. Of all the graphicscards you need, there's no mentioning of the G-Force 2MX. Now this may be a stupid question, i know, but i guess i have to know for sure. This probably means that i CAN install the game, but that it won't run, right ?
Well, in case that's it, all the more reason to finally make work of that upgrade i've been promising myself all year. Edit: before i forget.... If i can't run the game with this card, then how come i COULD play the demo ? [ 09-27-2004, 04:13 PM: Message edited by: johnny ]

It looks really good, I am sooo thinking of buying it. Must try to resist as money is tight, lots of work to do on the house.
I know I am going to give in though. |
