When I'm in-game, if I alt-tab or accidentally hit the Windows key, then switch back to BG2 everything on-screen is now vibrating left-right. This seems to happen to me particularly in the save screen, but I think I've had it happen during gameplay.
I know this didn't happen before I installed TOB. System: Athlon/KT133A Radeon 64 SB Live! Crucial ram All the latest bios/driver updates. Anyone else seen this? |

A PC tech explained to me once that the graphics of the game and Windows does not fully cooperate, and that Windows reluctuntly gives up it's place for the game to proceed. (This is how techs tell dummies like me what is going on)...anyway, the vibrating screen may have something to do with the graphics wars that Windows is having with it. It is not totally submissive. That does not solve your problem, but may give you clues to the reason behind it.

This is probably a windows related problem but may only cause problems with certain graphics cards. If you have previously noticed problems after minimising BG2 (Alt Esc) then it is likely to be. Try resizing your desktop to your in game settings. This may help, not sure though as I've never had the same problem.

I got somewhat the same system as yours, Milio. I can't alt-tab anymore, at least in ToB I can't. what I do, use the windows start-key. The start menu will pop-up and BG II : ToB will minimize, this allows you the use, for instance, shadowkeeper

Well at least I know now that I'm not the only one seeing this.
