But seriously... "Dark cloud, silver lining." is one I often quote. I suppose it could be taken to mean you have to look for the good in every situation, because it's always there.

I love reading The PROPHET, by Kahlil Gibran Some of my favorite poetry and words of wisdom.

Here is the chapter titled: On Self-Knowledge

Your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights.

But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge.

You would know in words that which you have always know in thought.
