Diablo series is FPS? hah! then Icewind dale series is FPS too. both are almost the same. but IWD got it's own forum.

then again I was wondering, if Ziroc makes a forum for every game out there in IW. imagine what this place would be?

And NWN too.

I would rather see Planscape:Torment forum here.

But how much can you really say about diablo you could tell someone how to beat the whole game in one post. what else would you ask about dueling trading. I play alot of D2 but i don't think theres enough game to have a whole forum for it. Theres not much to tell really.

ROFL! Good one!
yeah! And they need a hintbook for THAT?!?!

IWD is Roleplaying. Diablo II is: "I'm bored, I'll waste a few hours killing things" Don't get me wrong, Diablo II was fun, and I do own it, but the only RPG elements are "which weapon am I gonna kill THAT with"

I agree completely, since it changes every time you play it you can't explain where you found that über weapon; it isn't there the next time around or on any other players game.

IWD has a RPG system 'behind the scenes' whereas D2, I believe, doesn't and PS:T isn't long enough to have it's own forum.

But hack and slash doesn't rule out the possibility of a game being called an RPG. Arx Fatalis is definitely a hack and slash game but it is a true RPG, and an excellent one I might add.

However, if we were to have a board for the Diablo series we would have to add Doom at some point as well.
