I think silly putty has its own digestive system!

heey! i just realized something: when you put a little piece of plaster or something in Silly-Putty, it dissolves after a few hours! i just put a little piece of something in there, and now its almost all gone! eek, it has its own digestive system! run!

well so far, the object to be devoured has to be completely immersed and solid within the silly putty form. so therefore the wall wont be devoured until i make a HUGE ballof silly putty, and that will devour us all! ahh!

*sigh* Once again I'm confounded by alien terminology. What is 'Silly Putty'? I've heard of Play-Dough before (had some as a child), so that should give us a common frame of reference.
