Sorry for the entry level question but I am on the fourth stop on the map (lots of sprits and skeletons) I am trying to get into a locked chamber but it is locked -- I found the key in another portion of the "dungeon" I just have NO idea of how to use the key to open the door. HELP -- What a great game!!

Give the key to the character trying to open the door. But if that doesn't work, then you don't have the right key to open up that particular door. Are you in the Valley of Shadows?

Yea, as Kammye said, you probably don't have the right key.
I had that problem in the Vale of Shadows... too many keys there
