I'd like to have a brand new game going as I finish this campagin...any ideas how? If I just start over in the first town with new characters it doesn't reset the game for those characters, and all dungens, tombs, etc. have already been completed.
It's probably something real simple, but I'm not finding the instruction on how to do this..any help much appreciated. Cheers, Sean |

Choose computer options and click on RESET QUESTS -
That will reset the quests for your group! Now whether that will also reset the quests for your old group - I dunno - could be! Or not. (I'm so helpful!) Wyv |

Well, personally I have five different parties in different save files (inc "Honour and Pride", "Youths Innocence", "The SLice Girls"(I was really bored then), and many others).None of them share characters but I think one party has some high powered items.
Firstly get your whole party back to Valeia (if you want to swap items or delete them).Next click the computer options button and in the options bit go to the "Game" section. Up in the top left is a button that says "Reset"(okay, it doesn't actually say that but it's written on it).Click it, a message will come up telling you that this will reset all the quests, accept this.Another message will ask if you really want to reset, click the tick(or yes if it's a yes). All quests will reset and your current characters will return to the town inn (at wichever town you did this). Now as soon as any character comes out of the inn they'll see Gareth and have to sit through his introduction again. So simply delete all old characters (give away their equipment if you're feeling lazy), create a new party, and step outside. There's a whole new world of possabilities waiting for the new party. |

Sounds good, but I don't want to resent my first game, just the new one. Or am I not understanding, and that if I create new characters in the first town, then hit the reset key, it only resets for those characters currently in play, yet my other saved games will not be affected? Hope that's it..would be totally bummed if I reset my first game I'm just about to finish.
Cheers and THANKS for the info, |

Not exactly, it resets the game for all the characters in the game FOR THE CURRENT SAVE FILE ONLY! So if you reload an old (pre reset) file it'll set all the quests back to what they are for that particular save.SO after reseting, save using a different save slot, if you want to continue with your old party and still have an advanced save file for them then you can load it and continue. If you then re load the new parties "Freshmeat" save then the quests will have been unset for them.
