Yup, darn cute, he is! My brother-in-law found a stray cat 4 Christmas's ago. It was under a car, frozen in and and onto the ice. He had to chip it out from under the car. She had to have drops for her eyes being frozen shut. One eye still has a little blurry area on it, but she's great now.
Funny how we tear apart our environment and kill thousands of animals and we spend hundreds of dollars to save one... I prefer the latter.

Well, I think my dreaded (or not so much) post has run it's course. Nice to see it made it all the way through.
Now, it's time for a delicious Cloudy breakfast!

Re: Cloudy's Cafe- a conversation zone, September 5, 2008
Phew! Finally collected all the envelopes in the vilalge back for the Sally Army. Some people refused to answer the door or donate, one person left their envelope attached to the door and someone came round and stole the donation from it... *sigh* Seriously. All the effort of ripping open a sealed envelope for a couple of quid max? It kinda kills your faith in humanity. What little I had left.
On the plus side, I saw a couple of old friends from school and met the cutest little cat. He was very friendly. Didn't want me to stop stroking him.

Just think of it this way: maybe they needed the money too.

I for one am praying for Hawgs, LadyZ! He does look happy being with you, and if you give him that for as long as you can, then the quality of life will have improved considerably for him.
Huge hugs, Saz

Congrats, DS, hope you like it! I hear it's a lot of work, doing the 'boot camp' training even for reserves.
Go HAWGS, GO! He's still kicking and cuddling so I have strong hopes he'll pull all the way through.

Re: Cloudy's Cafe- a conversation zone, September 5, 2008
Anyone else getting some crazy weather? Last week it was miserable, rainy, and cold. Then yesterday it was sweltering and unbearably hot (it dropped to around 78F around 1:30 in the mornin). Then the remaining winds from Ike hit all throughout the night. I woke up and it was freezing out, and leaves and trees branches littered the street.
Crazy upstate NY weather. |
