I haven't done it yet but my next run through I will. Run the game with no cheats and most importantly no raise dead and no resurection and no going back to saved gaves. only one stipulation: entire party gets wiped out; reload saved game. If one of your charecters dies, his is dead, replace him with a new 1st level replacement. Now the replacement can pick up all the magic items of the fallen etc. I have been through the IWD series several times and felt this would be a good challange for expericed players.

Do you have a senerio you want to share? Let me hear it?

Solo Bard on HoF mode. Now that would be a challenge.

Stratos: It's challenging, it's painful but it is doable
ashsays: For greater challenge, you could add that recruiting a new 1st level char is allowed only in populated areas(i.e. Easthaven, Kuldahar, svirfneblin village, Lonelywood and maybe barbarian camp) That adds also role playing perspective.

I think raise dead and resurrect spells should be allowed as they are built into the gameplay and not really cheats (as opposed to difficulty modifiers). Definitely no saved games, though. And if someone dies, no replacement. You're up in the great white north. Where are you going to find a new fighter? Maybe town, I guess. Still- I like the idea of your party starting out and if someone dies, that's it. You have to continue on with what you have.

We should also all start this at the same time and play through together. Except that guy that can do it in one weekend. And NobleNick, you're going to have to pick up the pace.

I think we should do all of the above without ever pausing

Ok then, No saved games and you can only add new players in the populated towns.

Ranged weapons and spell casters are going to be the key to keeping the group whole. 2 to 3 clerics/druids will help also.

Opions on Group make up with the above senario?

You might want to at least have one save in case the power goes out or something. I'm you you all already thought of that though.
