Ratweed yea I new about neverwinter nights but I meant along the
same type of game play as BG,BGII etc. I guess I should have said that I hope someone developes another game using this type of format! |

I don't think there will be any more games based on the Infinity Engine. What Bioware should do is release the source code for the IE to someone like TeamBG when it's no longer commercially viable, so that they can make bigger and better mods.

You mean after desighning a great interface like this nobody is going
to continue building on it? I mean this is a money machine people could continue on this format for years turning out some of the most intense rpg's ever!!! That makes me to think nobody is going to continue making these types of rpg's ------------------ |

They are making a game called Torn that looks a lot
like Never Winter Nights and Dungeon Siege! Same character rules as Fallout. |

I think they are doing a game called Knights of the Old Republic - a jedi knight RPG based on events 4000yrs before Star Wars I.

Bioware isn't using their infinity engine anymore, but Black Isle might use it again. I am just hoping that Never Winter Nights doesn't get pushed back anymore...
