I think its hilarious that people are throwing stuff at him. I personally could care less that he's locking himself in a box for a month and a 1/2. Personally I'de really like to know what possessed him to do something stupid like that, ohh wait Money. Yeah, that would be it. I know he is supposedly trying to accomplish something, but I think the only thing he is accomplishing is maybe trying to show the depths of human stupidity, and the crowds apparently are oblidging him.

40 days in a box with no food thats a pretty strong test of will power and physical and mental health. I think its pretty cool. Why are people being so hateful [img]graemlins/1disgust.gif[/img] if the man wants to do it let him its not affecting their lives by him being there minding himself. So sad that people have to act like that, and try to ruin it....

Subjecting yourself to that for no reason is stupid. Like if he was trapped in the desert or something and had to do it for survival it would be a feat. Just to do it for money and publicity is just stupid and will garner no respect from me. If he's a magician trying to make more of a name for himself, there are better ways to do it, like magic. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the matter, and I definitely respect the varying opinions on the matter even if they different from mine, but I was asked for my opinion and I think its a dumb idea.

I'll tell you how he does it, first of all he positions himself so that you can see both heels, but only the toes of one foot, say the left foot, then keeping the left foot straight he raises himself onto the toes of his right foot lifting both heels off the floor as though he's levitating.

When you see this trick on TV it's all down to camera trickery, first the audience is filmed from the front using the afore mentioned illusion, then they film the shot from a certain angle from behind so as you can only see over the shoulder of the last person on the line, this is infact a stooge in the same colour jacket as the original member of the public, Blaine the po face master of hocus pocus is now being lifted on wires, some distance off the ground.

So the final edited for tv sequence is...The illusion..crowd reaction from front...crowd from behind with crew member on left..Blaine flying..crowd from front again..clappity, clap , clap ,clap.

IT is affecting my life I'm a Londoner, it's causing traffic problems, it has to be policed, that takes up resources and money, I'm a taxpayer, so I have to pay towards the policing , while David rakes in the cash.

And let's face it it's not as if it hasn't been done before, Thousands of allied troops were forced to do it in Japanese pow camps during WW II, I wonder how they feel about this 'Amazing stunt' ?
