This sicko killed six people. He doesn't deserve to live muchless get porn. And prison should be a punishment, not a pleasant place.

My 2 cents worth...

If one human being deliberately takes another human beings life, I believe they should be forfeit of all rights barring food, water and shelter.
The prison system in NZ isn't a joke but it's close to it. We have people here that go out and commit a crime not because they want to do the crime, but because they want to do the time. That's right, whether it's because Uncle Jay is in prison and they want to "hang out" with him or because living in prison means they get three square meals a day.

I've got a coupla friends in the police force and they once relayed this story about a group of three teenagers that stole a brand new car. The theives ended up totalling the car that someone had worked hard to pay for and while they were in lock-up awaiting sentencing my mate overheard them asking each other where they were likely to be incarcerated. One of them went on to say that he was heading to such and such prison (can't remember the name of it sorry) and then one of the others spoke up saying "Cool bro! They've got a playstation there."
I was shocked to say the least. I don't have a playstation, why should someone that commits a crime be allowed to have one? At the taxpayers expense no less. My expense!

Bring back capital punishment, take away the luxuries at "prison resorts" and make jailtime a bad thing that people will be afraid of.

That's my favorite songs from the "Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of 'Stayin' Alive'" and my favorite Clint Eastwood movie together for the first time.

I think it would be interesting to mix the two movies. Many of the parts and plots could be intermixed, and I even believe Travolta could have gotten the Clint Eastwood smirk down over time.

Unfortunately, I don't think Clint could have ever learned the "Stayin' Alive" dance moves. Maybe he could have learned some of those moves from "Grease", but not from "Stayin' Alive".

Of course, Travolta would have never worked out in "Unforgiven", while I have to believe Eastwood would have nailed the part from "Pulp Fiction". He is, after all, the originator of "getting Midevil on your buttocks."

Le Grande avec frommage for the Scientologist, and make that to go please.

Even as comparatively-draconian (to the mooshy Euro first world, not to really strict places like say China, Russia, or Turkey) as US prisons are, I have often wondered why I see so many bums on the street. If homeless, I'd find the first (non-violent) crime to commit that I could - at least I'd get some warmth and food. Probably some TV too. Don't forget the free mail. Internet access - too. I could go online, chat, and get a girl to write to.

Seriously, though. Prisons in most of the first world are much better than some people live. Don't forget about the free health care. I've read about folks with really bad, terminal if not treated, diseases committing crime just to get the health care.

[edit]: On Topic, but I just remembered: There was a case recently where a death row inmate was horribly sick. They postponed the execution so he could get well. Apparently, most state statutes only allow the execution of healthy prisoners. STOOPID. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to go postal (well, not really) whenever I get my paycheck and notice the 30% taken by Uncle Obese Wasteful Idiotic Sam.

Sorry but I can't believe this hasn't been brought up yet, prison is not just punishment it is ment to rehabilite (SP) the inmates.
IF the bugger learns to channel his sexual desires into porn and not young guys or who ever GOOD!.
You have to remeber they may of broken the law but they are still human. Once they done their time and leave prison what's the point having them uneduated, unskilled just so they can commite crimes again?

And porn rehabilitates?

Channeling their sexual desire into porn?

How about this, once they've served their sentance, they can buy all the porn they can afford!

Sure they can buy all the porn they want but They not been rehailitated, they sexual desires are not in porn but young men so they go for young men not porn see, without the channeling the porn is useless. (I'm not saying the system works but no system works all the time.)

Maybe I misunderstood. I do it all the time...lol.

If you're saying criminals need rehabilitation, but do not deserve pornography while they are in prison, I'm with you!

I think it's stupid to put most prisoners in prison just to rot.

Rehabilitation is extremely important, in most cases, but isn't always possible.

Bottom line? No prisoners DESERVE to have pornography during their imprisonment.
