A lot of new stuff for this release, and a big thanks to Barren Fischa, SimDing0, Ghreyfain, Andyr, and David Gaider for their assistance!

NEW ADDITIONS

-Thanks to the efforts of SimDing0 and Ghreyfain, the BodhiHunt component has returned
-Courtesy of David Gaider, the Bhaalspawn Powers component has been included (ToB only)
-SimDing0's Restored Hell Minions component, which should correct the final battle with restored scripts, creatures, and animations
-The Greyhand Encounter
-A minor dialog restorations involving Squire Cathras
-The restoration of several more names for generic characters

CHANGES

-The Miscellaneous Tweaks component has been broken down into several smaller components
-Added a new option for low INT/WIS players to summon the wrong Imoen instead of the wish just failing (Kalah component)
-Reputation is now increased if you free the Djinni or raise Kalah successfully
-Valygar's cabin will now be accessible at all times, but he will only appear if you have been given the quest to find him
-Suna Seni will no longer flee back to Athkatla only to be killed by rakshasas--her fate has been rewritten
-Cleaned up a few grammatical errors, and reworded a few lines
-Upgraded installation program to WeiDU 153

BUGFIXES

-Graphic corrections made to Kalah's genie lamp (thanks, Rassadihn!)
-Fixed a few lines that had not been traified
-Corrected the Boots of the West to be sellable and display the disease immunity icon
-Fixed an error that would cause the darkened Temple Ruins map to appear after the defeat of the Shade Lord when given the Illithium Quest
-Fixed a bug that prevented the Planar Sphere's feral halflings from speaking their lines
-Fixed a bug that kept an Illithium Quest journal entry from being erased
-Fixed a bug that allowed the player to attack and kill Bodhi in the Restored City Encounters component
-Fixed a bug that prevented the player to get the correct dialog from Lonk the Sane and free the inmates
-Fixed a bug with Aerie's interjection of Saemon's speech in Spellhold that would break the dialog
-Fixed a bug that prevented both Cowled Wizards from disappearing in the Minsc quest
-Fixed a bug in Valygar's dialog that, when force-talked, returned an invalid reply
-Fixed a bug in Gorje Hilldark's dialog that brought up an odd reference to a "drow pet" even if Viconia is not in the party

On a side note, why is Valygar's Cabin accessible at all times now? I thought you were intended to talk to the tax collector to gain access.

Mainly because people complained about going to the Umar Hills before being given the Hunt for Valygar Corthala quest and there being "no door." So, I compromised. His cabin is there and you can break in, but he will not be there to greet you until you've been given the quest.

Great work, icelus! I have one very small request to make for future versions if it's not too big of a deal -

Can you make it so Gorje is... um... where you find him (avoiding spoilers) even if no one's mentioned him yet? It would make sense given some of the stuff he says when you do meet him & cut down on the annoyance of making a special trip just for a relatively minor quest.

I'll look into it. It'd require a bit of a rework of his dialog, but it shouldn't be anything too difficult.

Why bother, though? You can easily get the quest with ease. It starts in one of the places that you visit a lot, so there's no big deal to it.

Several reasons.

The non-UB Sarles quest is a minor combat (Neb is not major) quest. You can even do it with no combat at all. In the UB version, you might have to wipe out a Lich (esp. with Tactics "Always Toughest Spawn") just to get to the point where you can take a step in the quest (I'm ignoring the fact that the person you came to meet stands around idly & unharmed during the battle if you have taken the time to get to that point in the quest).

You *will* have to kill many "+1 or better To Hit" enemies (still trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but it's probably clear by now). You may be faced with a "+5 or better To Hit" enemy.

The Sarles quest itself is time-of-day dependent - you can only get to that point in the quest by doing a prior step during a certain time of day. This alone leads to a lot of back-tracking.

The original version was one of those "do it early & easy" quests to get some XP. Now, it's not. You have some "maybe not ready right out of Chateau Irenicus" combat in store.

I don't mean to criticize the UB version at all. I found it highly enjoyable & the dialogue to be priceless... Minsc-like even! It just makes sense that he should be there whether you've got the Sarles quest yet or not.

Maybe if he were in a different room even (maybe the room right before the SL's jail keeper?), or even a more easily accessible area (then again, all I'd like is for him to be where he is all the time), it may make less difference whether he's there all the time or only after you've received that aspect of the quest.
