I have decided for my first time through the game I am going to play a Ranger. Then I will try it again as a Wizard or a Fighter/Wizard.
What I wanted to ask is what do you think about throwing a level or 2 of Rogue in with my ranger? That way I can get use magical device and a little back stab? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I haven't hired a Henchman but do they work like in Temple of Elemental Evil? To they take loot and gold? Thanks, |

Just make sure you play either a human, halfing, or half-elf, lest you suffer an XP penalty

I am a Human. So does that mean you think it is a good idea? [img]smile.gif[/img] Or do Rangers get something at level 20 that is too cool to pass up? Of course I can get level 20 if I get HotU.

No, it's a good idea. This should work... Your acting favored class will be Ranger, and all will be good.
