I've noted quite a few Ironworks forums in which people have been speaking in several different languages. Does everyone think we should just stick to english or let everyone speak whatever they want?

Are you crazy? This is an international board, if you want to speak Swedish/Spannish/German/Mandarin/Tagolog/whatever then they can. Hopefully someone speaks the language and can help. The diversity of our board is what makes it what it is. See LadyZeekes thread to understand

It doesn't bother me. If we can ask sensative people to ignore threads that they might find offensive, I have no problems ignoring threads that I don't even understand.

On a totally unrelated side note though, a HUGE PET PEEVE:

Asian signs on buildings in Southern California. There are a couple of cities that I can't even drive in because all of the signs on the stores are in some other asian language. It is like I crossed over some invisible border to a different country. This is supposed to be America for the love of Buddha!

Lol...I am pretty crazy, but that's beside the point. I was just wondering about it seeing as it tends to piss of the moderators...

OK
1.- How can you think the moderators can moderate a thread in chinese ?? or in swedish ?? or in swahili ??

2.- People could feel OUT if they see threads that they cant understand.

3.- This site is in english, so i guess its directed to people who speak english.

4.- Would it be pleasant taking a look at the forums and seeing threads in 7-8 different languages ?? it would be a jungle

Isnt the US a multi-cultural and multi-lingual nation with no official
language? It is a nation of immigrants after all. I could be wrong
but in multi-cultural nations (of which i come from one: Canada) any language
goes on signs...except Quebec where if its not french you get fined!
