I've worn glasses since I was three. Hate 'em. But I feel naked without them...
And I'll tell you something else for free! You eyes get cold when you take the glasses off! (I bet you really wanted to know that....!)

Wore contacts for years and years, but can't afford them now. I wear glasses for nearly every activity except for reading, close-up work (stitching), and the computer (hurts to wear glasses at the computer).
As for your other question, I heard once that there was a method for improving your vision to 20/20, apparently by practicing daily to focus on a near and far object, say, along a ruler or something. I tried that for a while, but it didn't seem to help much. |

I've been lucky so far and avoided them. Everyone else in my family needs them though, and I think the time may be coming soon...

Yup I wear glasses, thick ones, and have since I was a baby. My eyesight still sucks - it's 20/40 in my right eye and 20/200 in the left eye - and that's corrected!!
