Well, did you at least bring a bottle of rum ? It's too friggin hot, i can't even sleep. I drifted right out of my bed and stranded in front of the PC.

You know, johnny, if you're having problems sleeping, enough beer will knock you right out.

We had the weirdest day in history, weatherwise. It went from overcast this morning, to hot and dry in the mid-30s at noon, at three o'clock or so it started to rain, at four it was sunny, at six it started hailing(in the middle of August, no less), then it cleared up for an hour, started raining again, and now it's just overcast. Very odd.

Useless trivia alert: hail is a specifically warm-weather phenomenon, since the warm updrafts keep the ice particles afloat; the same mechanism creates sleet in cold weather.

Cast not assertions that Johnny is some booze-addled drunk. Johnny is way beyond that. He is a true worshiper of beer, nay a high priest none the less!

High priests do not get drunk or even unruly. No they worship beer, marvel at its various forms and tastes, its colour and texture. They are knowledgeable about its history, the fine art of brewing, the traditions and local customs of beer drinking around the world. They know the dangers of consuming too much or too little. They are aware of the benefits of anticipation as a beer is poured slowly into a chilled glass; it's head frothing to the top in a crescendo of bubbles. Then that first mouthful after a week of thirst and longing .... ahhhhhhh

Verily I say onto you fellow brethren, gather round while Johnny passes us some wisdom from the holy cask of beer drinking memories!

Vaskie! Saw your pics on Stealthys, looks like it was cold! How high up was that? I can't imagine how the views were! Glad you had a good time!
