This is how Six did it on the Books/TV/Movies forum, and I think this is what Balintherlas was trying to do. Here are six quotes, each with a color code. Try to figure out who said which quote, and where and when would be a bonus if you knew that too. Guess the quote correctly and you get to post the next color quote.
Check out this thread to see the quote game in action. The HTML for the color quotes is easy to do, just remove the space before the bracket. For example, if you wanted to post the next red question: < font color=red> "Quoted text goes here." < /font> It would be helpful if people put their answer in the same color of the quote they're naming or said "the green quote is from whoever" or something. But I don't really care how it's done. Just a little stress reliever before exams! ----- *red* "And here we go 'round the mulberry bush. Yes, yes, keep your pitiful ramblings to yourself." *orange* "Not only is he out of balance, he is, in fact, totally bent. Nature would drop you in a hole, given half a chance." *yellow* "If that means hating you, then yeah, I'm in league with them." *green* "You there! Finally we meet... I've had enough of you wandering about pretending to be me! Earn your own reputation... my name is my own!!" *blue* A: "But... but darling, it is so fun to make light of the peasantry." B: "No, my lord. I am afraid I must insist. We have business here, remember? I am afraid you simply must apologize." A: "Very well. My... apologies... commoner. Your smell offends me almost as much as your demeanor, but as a noble I must learn to tolerate both. Now go away." B: "There, now, was that so hard?" *violet* "What in blazes are you blathering on about? You speak as though someone is scribing your words for some pompous book of history." Have at it! Yup, that's Lord Feveron and Lady Diana, Dron_Cah, take it away with blue!
(If you want an example of the HTML tag, just quote my post using the button next to the edit/delete button.)

Correct! yellow to Ash_Dundee!
Green can't be Greywolf because this is only for BG2. (And now that I'm thinking about it, can we try to keep to SoA-only quotes for this thread? It's the SoA board, y'know. )

Green is Drizzt, I think.
Red sounds like something Mae'var would say. [ 05-12-2004, 06:37 AM: Message edited by: LennonCook ] |

Yellow has Jaheira written all over it, although I don't actually recall her ever saying it.

Violet is Bodhi, in the Graveyard District, shortly before the final battle.

Drizzt and Bodhi are correct! (The Drizzt one happens when the PC also has the name Drizzt and the party's rep is below 10.)
Waiting on Dron_Cah, Ash_Dundee, LennonCook, and Illumina to post the next quotes.

Something easy, to get the party started.
My mentor always said, "See the spoon, see the spoon." But I only saw frogs. Edit- And Pirengle, I think I need to state that I'm in love with your sig. [ 05-12-2004, 02:30 PM: Message edited by: Illumina Drathiran'ar ]
