Nacht - right on!

Prisoners through due process have "lost" their rights afforded citizens. Whether some people should be in prison or not is a different topic. But, beyond the freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, and the right to BASIC human needs, I don't think that prisoners deserve anything.

If I were you, I’d have removed this bit when you edited it.
But HAND anyway, since I don’t wish pain or suffering on anyone.

The answer to your first question is pretty damn simple. Taxpayers(in any country) should NOT be forced to pay for this sick psycho's habits. IMNSHO prisoners should be given small, uncomfortable cells, enough food and drink to keep them alive, and enough exercise and health care to keep them minimally healthy...END OF LIST! But then, I'm one of 'bad men' that feels that prisoners should actually bu PUNISHED.

The answer to your second question...is a whole different thread in and of itself.[/QB]
Sick Psycho?
What do you mean by that?
Do you mean that wanting homosexual pr0n is a sick thing?
Prisoners can have jobs IIRC here, and they can earn money with them, (they get paid very little for things like assembely, I've got a pair of speakers made in a prison workshop)
If he wants to buy pr0n with his money, Why shouldn't he?

Also does the article acutally say anthing about Taxpayers money being used to fund his pr0n buying?
It doesn't, So why did magick use the predjudical idea of taxpayerrs money being spent on it to start with?

Why should we censor what a serial murder reads?
Why should we censor what ANY adult reads?
Lol! Read? How many words are in a hard-core porn magazine besides the woman's stage name???

The only thing those magazines are good for is making alot of sticky messes and the poor little skinny convicts that can't protect themselves alot more worried these days.
What he does with Pr0n is his own business,
It’s not mine or anyone’s place to decide what he can read on the basis of what he might do with it.
Is sex a basic human need then?
It’s a very powerful drive in all of us,
And therefore since it seems to be a basic human need and drive, why should we deny him the right to do something about it as far as he can in his situation?

It doesn't, So why did magick use the predjudical idea of taxpayerrs money being spent on it to start with?[/QB]
No, I mean that he's a freakin mass murderer!! While I happen, on a purely personal level, to dislike homesexual pornography, that is not my issue. My issue is that this prisoner should not be getting ANY porn: softcore, hardcore, hetero- or homo- or veggie- sexual. NONE! As I stated above, he should be getting minimal food/shelter/et al...AND THAT'S IT!!! I personally dont think that prisoners should have jobs that allow them to earn money. If they are working for the state, it should simply be considered community service. These people are PRISONERS...they are CRIMINALS...NOT FREE CITIZENS! They gave up their rights when they commited their crimes.

Now...on to your other point...If this pile of filth is PAYING FOR HIS OWN porn...well, that's a fish of a different color. However, he can have it shipped to his private residence and view it after he is a free man, not while he belongs to the state. And if he's a lifer...sucks to be him. But, see again my point above. He shouldn't even be doing a job that gives him recompense.

As to Magik's usage of the phrase 'Taxpayers Money'...well, you'll have to ask him why he used it.

Cheers Drammie
