Did anybody get a big bunch of ripe (orange) habenjero peppers and paint jack-o-lantern faces on them? I made a bunch up and they looked great. I was planning to give them out to trick or treaters but neither Sazerac or Lord of Alcohol came by so I kept them all and am sauteeing them for dinner.

Sir Goulum; you had better try a habenjero before you give one to an unsuspecting person. I don't think Canadians, generally speaking, are ready for them. Your local laws may consider them an illegal weapon.

Worst experience I ever had with them was when I was making the homemade chicken wing sauce for the rest I used to work at. Was chopping some up for the hot sauce and had customers come in to the bar and order drinks and rubbed my eyes without thinking about it...

My sister would probably like those. She and my cousin will eat peppers even with tears running from their eyes! (Yes, even those tiny red ones.)
