Why is crafting in Undermountain soooo expensive.

I havn't invested any skills into it so far but to add some boots to my dwarven armour (the +10 version which my dwarf is wearning at the moment, the reason im adding boots is because this armour has none)

The DC on this was 24 ( which will take a while to reach since my dwarf only has a +4) and it costs over 200,000!

Man thats expensive if you fail!

Well there is so much money from loot to be found in Undermountain that 200,000 does not seem like much. That is just one more way to spend your coin.

I am curious if there is a maximum amount of gold.

Also on the subject of crafting, Z, could you import the CEPcrafting.erf which came with the CEP? It adds many more crafting options including the ability to craft shields and helmets.

I haven't added it because there is a way to dupe items.

There's a way to dupe them now as well. Well, not the helmets and shields, but they're not as instrumental as armor and weapons in most cases.

Personally I'm a proponent of not limiting the majority of the players to obstruct a few bad apples.

Doesn't the CEP anti-duping container work?
