Re: MM7 Mod - my status
Is there some type of chart that tells what class the starting class can promoted to? I sure would help to have some idea.

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
If you're referring to some of your allies, I'm a bit surprised. It seems like they can't be killed!
What I do is run around that first room and take care of the enemies in the narrow area and then the back area. This is mostly because I don't want to hit any of the allies myself. Try t o get somewhere in that main area you enter where you're not a direct target. Use paralyze and everything you can, then let the allies take them down. Paralyze does not seem to work on the Jester's dragons, but works fine on the rest. As you suggested, berserk and enslave will keep them busy with each other also. What's your foursome? Still the same?

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
Yep, I'm referring to my allies. They're dropping left and right... in spite of their thousands of HP. I'm sure I haven't been taking them out, because the others aren't red... discovered that the hard way in the first level of the vault.
Paralyze has worked on a couple of dragons (not the jester and his spawn, AFAIK). I haven't see berserk working as effectively as I want, unfortunately I have used the hasted blaster rifles effectively, but I'm always concerned about friendly fire coming in to play. Still my same foursome... KTCS turned AMPP. Sadly, I can't seem to find a place where the sorcerer can learn mace, so he can't pick up his nice GM there. On a side note, the skill displays only allow for seven spell schools to be displayed. Sorc > Pally means that you now have 9 potential spell schools, and the last two will not show up on the skill display. Get your Light and Dark levels as high as you want them before you do that, my friends...

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
With blaster riffles and haste you should take them down super fast; faster than your allies can die!
My clerics are lvl 46 now and I don't feel ready to run the gauntlet yet... ..heading down to my new allies.. in the pit..

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
Hasted blaster rifles make easy work of the Gauntlet... my concern with them is accidentally shooting my allies! That happened in the entrance to the vault... one of them got caught in a blast or something, and both went hostile. I suppose I can try it once with just auto-fire on...

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
Try to run to the other side of the room. The enemies should block the allies from friendly fire. You can also use the cursor to target the dragons etc..

Re: MM7 Mod - my status
der gauntlet is done! I went with archer class at the last moment. I just got sick of no teleportation. I won't need many of the spells now, since the light stuff covers most of it. Master spear and GM bow should be pretty helpful though. I may just stick with mace and shield though.
B' did ya do the vault? if you're having trouble, I'd be happy to receive your save game and help you with that!
