To the uncaring...this means nothing. To the fans of X-Men...this is an outrage. To the creators of the comic book...this is evil! But it's all about money. You see, in the past there used to be a special extra fee for imports and exports for dolls at 12.6% fee and toys were half that amount. A doll is something like Barbie...a human replica. A toy is like trans-formers...clearly not human. So...for the longest time...the manufacturers of X-men were paying the tariff as a doll. Now...an international court has been asked to make a ruling, and he declared them as toys. This means that somebody is owed back alot of money from the past. The tariff differential no longer exists, per my understanding of the article. Buy the way, this article was in the Newspaper...I think it was Wall Street Journal...anyway...the creators of the X-men are pretty upset about this, because thier whole story line for X-men are that these super-humans were trying to convince man-kind to lose the prejudice of seeing them as different...and accept them as human! That is all the good guys have ever wanted out of life was to coexist with humans and be accepted as human. Now, a judge has declared that a man with telekenetic powers, or a girl that can fly and sap energy from another person...or a man that has adamatine spears popping outta his arms can never be considered anything less than animals! So...waht does that make the Green Goblin? Superman? Spiderman? Wonderwoman?

Erm..... I'm sure the comic book makers and manufacturers will be happy to admit the FICTION of their tales and take the money and run.

This is an outrage! As a long-time X-Men fan (isn't every male? ) I have to say that I am appalled! Of course X-Men are human! They are just extra=powerful humans! That ruling is saying that because they can do extra things they are not human.

Now for a serious point:
Does this mean that disabled people are not human because they can do fewer things sometimes? I mean it's the same logic...
their logic sucks.

I wonder if the same applied to Vash the Stampede and Tetsuo Figurines. Vash looks like a man, and so does tetsuo, but Vash is a plant and Tetsuo is a... well he's a psionic man with an arm made from junk

well society will have to be more tolerant, but I really can see the reverse side. I wouldn't want wolverine to get drunk and then pick a fight with me, he'de skewer me like a bit of beef on a kabob
