With a resounding thud the elevator stopped before Moiraine Sedai. Carefully hopping on, and with a final prayer that she could reach an agreement with this 'F'Lokis Ra', she scanned the room behind her. Nothing except a few rats. With a loud grating sound, the elevator began to move upwards. Shortly it stopped and Moiraine frowned, raising an eyebrow. Across the room was a figure, wrapped in cloth rotted yellow. Just as she stepped off the lift, the body animated.

"Who dares to disturb the slumber of F'Lokis Ra?" he growled.
"Uh...Hail, my good mummified undead creature...monster...thing" Moiraine said haltingly.
"Long have I rested here, and long I have yearned freedom from this burning curse around my neck!" the mummy said, pointing at a golden necklace glowing brightly against his wrappings.
"Why are you here?" Moiraine asked cautiously, preparing some spells in case he turned nasty.
"My Lord Cet, banished me here long ago, and I have been here ever since. Perhaps after so long, he has forgotten me? Maybe it might be time for me to be free oncemore?" the undead creature moaned, scrunching up his decayed face.
"Lord Cet?! Isn't he the big evil bad guy who terrorized this land ages ago?" she said, becoming increasingly worried.
Ignoring her, F'Lokis Ra called on Lord Cet.
"My Lord, is it my time to be free?"
"Not yet, my faithful servant. But soon. Yes. Very soon" a loud voice boomed,"Who is it you have with you? Argh! Slay her! She is of good intent. Do this, and you shall be free!"
"As you command, my lord" the mummy said, turning to Moiraine with a crazed look on its face.

Balls of glowing flame flew towards Moiraine. Ducking and weaving, she managed to avoid them. Pointing towards the undead fiend, she threw her own magic at him. Several small spheres of earthen magic sped unerringly toward him. Upon their impact, F'Lokis was covered in a shower of sparks.

Snarling, the mummy drew his head back, then released a blob of vomit at Moiraine. Although she was fast, she wasn't fast enough. Struck by the foul goo, she began to feel sick. Becoming angry, she launched her counter attack: a small beam of glowing energy.

With a horrible scream F'Lokis Ra collapsed to the floor, his evil spirit leaving his decrepid form. With a groan, Moiraine fell to the floor. She pulled a small vial from her pocket. Quickly she pulled out the stopper and consumed its contents. She immediately began to feel better. Wandering over to F'Lokis Ra's corpse, she picked up the golden amulet. Caressing it's smooth form, Moiraine slipped the item into her pack.

Looking around the room, she spotted a small passage leading away from the chamber. She slowly walked towards it and went down the passage. She found another small room with a treasure chest. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted something by one of the legs of the table. Picking it up, it turned out to be a ring. She slid the ring onto her finger and set to work on the chest.

It yielded little gold, and nothing else that valuable, except for several scrolls which she slid up the sleeves of her robes for easy access when they were needed. Leaving the room by a set of stairs, she came upon a dead end. A brick wall. Or was it?

As she moved closer, it slid up into the ceiling and she found herself back in the room with the white marble statue. Feeling something move in her pack, she took it off and rifled through it. Had a rat snuck in? She found the source of the disturbance. It was the golden amulet she had taken from F'Lokis Ra. Holding it towards the statue, she heard a soft angelic voice say:

"Only the worthy shall enter!"

With that, previously blcoked passage was cleared.

Sighing Moiraine headed off down the passage, giving up on the idea of seeking fredom from this place, but this time aiming to find the item she had set out to find: The Mavin Sword.

Oh, why has everyone got so much against F'Lokis Ra? Apart from the fact that he is in league with the forces of evil, apart from the fact that he hates you with every fiber of his rotted corpse, and apart from the fact that he tries with every chance he gets to burn you to a cinder I believe he really is a very nice chap once you get to know him. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

a great story moraine! i tink it's most likely coz Flokis'Ra is an undead and vomits ugly goo at you (although those oozes in the dungeons do the same, Flokis'Ra's is more........grose.....) that makes ur stomach churn.

btw, wat happened to Solo Story 2? i cant seem to find it!
