Kevin Smith is a comedy legend (sure I have the occasional weakness for dick and fart jokes), so which is your fave movies, and which is your least fave (because they all rock)? Hey Z, a poll option for this section wouldnt hurt

Your choices are (for the un-obsessed);

Clerks
Mallrats
Chasing Amy
Dogma
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Fave 2:
Clerks
Chasing Amy

Worst:
J&SB Strike Back

I reckon Jersey Girl never happened in your book?
Also, apparently he's working on a sequel for Clerks.

I thought Jersey Girl was okay. He worked on Good Will Hunting too.

My favorite Kevin Smith movie (this answer is such a cop-out) depends on my mood. I think Dogma is a great movie, but for goofy laughs, nothing beats Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Of course, these movies wouldn't be half as good unless you've seen the previous films.

I guess Mall Rats gets the "worst" rating in my book, but I like seeing the cast of My Name is Earl on the big screen!

Mallrats was always my favorite, followed by Chasing Amy.

J&SBSB was the worst.

I would say Clerks is my favorite, having worked retail and jockeyed a register, I can understand alot of the frustration of the main characters.

Chasing Amy is my least favorite, it's great, up until the last 15 minutes (if you shut it off then, you'll probably be much more satisfied with the movie).

umm, it's not really the cast of My Name is Earl, Jason Lee is the only character in Mallrats and the show (although I've been impressed with Jason Lee ever since I first saw him onscreen, definitely one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood) {edit, Ethan Suplee (Willam from Mallrats) is also in My Name is Earl}

Also, The clerks sequel is going to be called, The Passion of the Clerks, sounds like it's going to be great.

I know it's really not the whole cast, but it's nice to see Willam THERE IS NO EASTER BUNNY! OVER THERE, THAT'S JUST A GUY IN A SUIT! get another spot, as I don't think he's done anything since.

Also, according to ViewAskew.com, they might change the name of Clerks II. I hope they do, I'm not a fan of The Passion of the Clerks.

He did have some of the most quotable lines from the movie, "You Dumb bastard, it's not a schooner, it's a sailboat"
