Since it crashes the server everytime someone does a search, I have disabled it. I'll do the forum software upgrade this week or weekend (It handles searching better and uses less memory) so I hope this solves the problem--it should.

It may just be that the search indexes are corrupt. I'll re-index tonight and try some searches..

The Search feature WILL be back by next week...

Great news!
I am glad that has been sorted out.
I do look forward to the upgrade, as the Search feature is nice to have.

It was unable to find most of the older posts anyways, so it's for the better.

Thank goodness at last, looks like me and LS were right when we said that the search crashed it!

Is this the reason why I couldn't access IW the whole day yesterday?

the only time i ever used a search feature in a forum was with my DREAMCAST and i'll tell you something, it was a pretty bad experience, slowly browsing through 40 pages of nothing to do with anything i'd searched for... I bet IW must be terrific, but frankly, i'm afraid to touch forum searches... honestly... I don't think they've been perfected like net search engiens... well then again im only saying this after my first impression and no further experience....

Thanks, Z! I love the search feature but if it crashes us... we'll wait! And YES, Mouse, we do need our sticky feature!

Hehe.. well, Dan, no hurry for me.. I'll be offline and incommunicado from Thursday to Monday. Got my honey coming in then!
