I was just wondering what you guys thought were the best and worst moments on the Ironworks last year. Of course, I wasn't here the whole year, I registered in april as Row Firecam and posted for about a month, then I had to sell my computer and after I got a new one in july, I couldn't find the forums and then when I finally found it... my former password didn't work so I created a new one.
Anyway for me
Best:
1. I found the place
2. realising how friendly everybody is here, and helpful. [singing]we are family[/singing]
3. getting seriously addicted

Worst:
1. Losing this place for almost 5 months.
2. the end of december...Wahhh!!!
3. I joined again shortlyt after WTC and GD was in turmoils, some people were really on edge, thankfully it was solved with the War forum.

Anyway, I look forward to the new year with Ironwork by my side

Best:
1)Falling in love because of this place
2)Getting lots of friends because of this place
3)Finally finding a forum with friendly mods and admins who are also active when it comes to ridding the place of trolls and flamers

Worst:
1)The edgyness and anger following the WTC attack.
2)Making a few almost foes.
3)None, I can only find those two bad things.

I'll start with the worst:

1- Definately the end of December
2- The turmoil that followed the 9-11 attacks

The best:

1- Great group of people to share stuff with
2- The turmoil that followed the 9-11 attacks

OK, why 9-11 being the best? Simple, this forum allowed alot of people to vent their anger and made them feel better. True, some were hurt more than others but overall, it was definately a good thing. Don't believe me? This board is still going isn't it... plus, it's still probably the best forum on the internet (IMO anyway)

best: *cough6-3-01cough*
-finding a great forum with wonderful people
-the founding of the (in)famous CLoudy's Cafe
-having support here, whenever it was needed

worst:
-when it was down
-flamers and trolls, quickly banned though
-fights and arguments after 9-11...helped resolve a lot though

the best would have to be actually be discovering this place, work has never been the same

the worst would have to be when i couldnt get on for a couple weeks. work was really really tedious, and i ended up getting snippy with quite a few customers, but im back no so all's well that end's well i guess

the BEST:
1) when I joined
2) when Lioness joined
3) the fact that the mods took action against flamers and the such

the WORST:

1) the turmoil both before and after 9/11
2) the fact that i have to periodically leave this place
3) when its down for maintenance and server movement

The best is easy :

1) Getting a free ticket to sit alongside Donut and see Arsenal play Leeds (LOL, he thought he was safe making that offer what with me being in Australia and all - little did he know....)
2) Meeting the Tartan Rodent in the flesh (and he gave me some free golf balls to lose around Cruden Bay).
3) Holding the forum hostage (with Binky and OTP) - got a sultry version of "Happy Birthday Mr President" from Cloudy while that was going on .

Worst was :

1) The big silence (no forum)
2) The little silence (no forum)
3) Aelia's massage (now it was nice mind you, but way too short - had only just started when she said "My turn now" - sigh).

Oh, and :

4) All the Fosters one has to drink when actually meeting friends made through the Forum.
