I think I have too many sorcerer spells...

I've been playing a single player game with 6 characters that I made, one of them is a sorcerer. I do NOT have ToB, but I did dl the xcap remover and many other small fixes (most came in one big zip file. I forgot where I got it). I've been looking at this board for help with spell choices, and I noticed everyone saying that you get 5 or 6 spells per level max. Well, here is what I have:

(spells per level | Castings per day)
I have Ring of Acuity, just so u know.

Level 18 Level 19
1. (10 | 6) (11 | 6)
2. (8 | 8) (9 | 8)
3. (7 | 7) (8 | 7)
4. (6 | 7) (7 | 7)
5. (5 | 6) (6 | 6)
6. (4 | 6) (5 | 6)
7. (3 | 6) (4 | 6)
8. (2 | 5) (3 | 6)
9. (1 | 3) (2 | 4)

It seems that I have too many spells. Does anyone know why this is? Is it a bug?

Your casting per day is correct, but you definitely should not get 10 different spells for level 1. A Sorcerer can have at most, 5 different spells per spell level. This is most definitely a bug, and a game-breaking one at that( since it throws the concept of playing a Mage out of the window).

It is caused either by the XP cap remover, or by some of those no-name files.

It is the XP cap remover. I know this becuase Tashia has so much spells that really hurts.

How is it bad to have to many spells, i would be happy if this happened to me!

Still, sorcs are not supposed to have that many, it makes the game unbalanced.

If you really wanted to make your sorcs uber, you could download the book that when read gives your mage (or sorc) every spell in the game.

Could you imagine trying to find a single spell you wanted to cast through all that mess? 176 mage spells (yes, i counted them in the manual, I'm sad, i have no life [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and you can only see 10 at a time... *shudders* You'd probably be able to kill something with your fists before you could find the spell you wanted...
