it all depends on your genetic make up, some people do stop growing at 15, while others grow until they are in their 20's, me I stopped growing at 14, because I was already tall for a teenager, and am now short for an adult, lol

5'8" is about average it isn't small. I am 5'8" and I don't feel dwarfed among other people.
Being tall is not all that it is cracked up to be. Tall people are more likely to end up with concussions. Same thing happened to me as happened to Stormy. Was at least 2 heads over my peers for the longest time but eventually that many caught up or got taller in high school. [ 09-10-2004, 05:30 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

In males, muscular development from high testosterone levels can continue well into your twenties. You can tell when you stop growing. Your horomone levels drop down to normal. I've put on almost 100 pounds since I was 20. 60 pounds of it is muscle and bone. We won't discuss the other 40. My height on the other hand, only increased 1/2 inch.

I think most guys still have the potential to grow until their early twenties. It's got to do with the ends of your bones.
I more or less stopped growing (taller) at 18, but I've put on about 15 pounds of muscle since then. I'm 5'10, 170. Not short, but I can still fit into most airline seats.
