Well so far I think this game rocks. Its one of the few rpg's that makes me think "I wish I was home playing it right now instead of being here at work". And I like my job Anyway, I think they should make a multiplayer version of this game. Do you have any idea how fun that would be. I mean, everyone on this forum rocks so far.

But if they someday do, make it free! For god's sake! Ashrens call or whatever it is costs $20 a month (i think). I mean thats almost $300 a year (after purchasing the game itself).

Anyway, just thought I'd put my input in.

Anyone ever play the dos graphical game Dragon Wars? Now that was one bad azz game.

You start the game in Purgatory!

YEAH!! Whoa I didn't think anyone ever played that game! That game is harder then hell, but it is one of the best games ever. I mean, graphics are cool and everything, but gameplay and storyline is the most important thing, and that game had it all! W&W is the closest game I've found next to Dragon Wars.

I don't remember much about the game (it was many moons ago), but I remember there were about 3 different ways out of Purgatory, and that the last guy to beat was one of the toughest, ever!

The game was supposed to be multi-player, and there was a lot of effort spent on that, but when the final release approached they noticed there was not enough time to test it (estimation of 6 times as much test time needed), so they cut it out of the game, including some quests that required splitting the party. If you look at all the files of the CD, you'll still find traces of it.
