From what I've heard from journalists that played Wii games at E3 they all really enjoyed them. I don't think people should judge how these games and how you control them will work until they've had a go themselves. Ziroc I know the Gamecube has "flopped" as many people put it, but is a very good console with soem excellent games. Metroid Prime has been IMO possibly the best game released this console generation. The main reason the Gamecube failed was oviously due to lack of third party support and the fact that the yokels will buy things based on hype not quality. It happened to the Dreamcast and the Gamecube, but for me both were two consoles with huge potential if they'd had more third party support. I'm going to get a PS3 but it is likely I will also pick up a Wii if I can afford one.

In our student home we've already made plans to buy a Wii. We all grew up more or less playing Nintendo games, and the fact that we might once more enjoy a game of Duck Hunt, Mario Kart 64, Chip 'n Dale and of course Super Smash Brothers is reason enough to start saving.
On top of that, I REALLY want to play Twilight Princess. It's looking awsome, and I highly doubt the game will suck. On top of THAT, our residential DVD-player is crappy, and we really could use a new one |

I'd like to see the Wii price stay low... that would give folks an option to the 400+ dollar consoles and very well may insure that it becomes a hit (even with the cheezy name).
