Question Mark

My cat Roscoe had a bad wound on his head from fighting with another animal. The wound got infected (oozing puss and smelling bad) so he had to go to the vet. Just when it looked healed up, he tore it open againa and splattered blood all over the couch and floor! After spending 2 nights at the vets', he's finally home, but has a tube going down the side of his head to keep it draining. To add insult to injury, I had them castrate him while he was there. The poor baby looks like he needs a mask like in the phantom of the opera! And he sits down very carefully.
If someone could tell me how to put a picture in the post, I'll take one of the poor baby to show.

Sorry to hear that, mr. Ornery. Let's hope for a quick recovery.

I hope your cat is doing better. Now I'm worried. Your tom won't behave, goes out fighting and won't follow doctor's orders; the next thing you know and he is "fixed". I hope you don't use the same technique in your own love life. It sounds awfully hard on the boyfriends.

I don't know if it's a side effect from what the vet did to his face, but tonight Roscoe seems to be having trouble keeping his tongue in his mouth. After eating his dinner he came into the living room with half his tongue hanging out and fell asleep like that. He still sounds normal when he meows, but now he looks even more pitfull!

At least he has one thing going for him. The other 2 cats have been letting him eat his fill, first. Of course that could be because they don't want that touching their heads.

Edit: Thanks Sir Exxon, for the instructions! I'll let that "Mr." slide this time.

The vet said Roscoe's infection was clearing up just fine. He gets it taken out Monday afternoon. He's just happy he can go outside again!
(I've been trying to put his pictures put in the post, but need a web host or whatever.)

Ranchoweb.com is a good FREE site to do image hosting for you. Go there and open an account. You can then put Roscoe's picture in a folder. Just follow Sir Exxon's help and you can then post a pic in a post. If you go to your member profile here at IW you can put a picture in your sig.

I think the only problem that you will have is that ranchoweb likes dogs.

Thanks antryg! It seems to be working now.

This picture is a few days after the other one, but shows where the tube goes out the side. And his tongue is sticking out.
