Just finished the second book of 'Conclave of Shadows'. As usual, it's a real pageturner. Once you start, it's hard to stop reading. Still, I find the characters slightly lacking this time. Feist is beginning to suffer from the Salvatore Syndrome, with way to many uber characters to maintain a balanced fantasy world. Did anyone else find it rather irritating, that after Talon lost part of his right arm, Nakur teleported him to the other end of the world, and had some cleric grow him a new one? Overall, a good book, but hardly his best work.
