Pity the poor monks
Any chance of a quest towards Lawful - this place is a killer for monks, everything we do is evil, chaotic, towards neutral etc - is it my imagination that there is no quest for Lawful?

Re: Pity the poor monks
Isn't the Hand of Bane quest towards lawful?
Anyway, I have a few quests that will do as you need--one will actually be with the Monks in the Library of Oghma. It should be up your ally for sure! I'll be in the next update. Remember though, Undermountain isn't exactly where good hangs out , but I will try to balance it out. I have a lot of other quests coming up too, so maybe on a few you can choose to go neutral or to good/lawful. (we can base it on your reply to the quest giver on completion of the quest. Cool?

Re: Pity the poor monks
Yep, Cool. Although maybe we shouldn't mention my alley.
But HoB is towards Neutral as far as I can tell, and Lawful isn't necessarily Good, I have some Baaaad monks! Law implies honor, trustworthiness, obedience to authority, and reliability. On the downside, lawfulness can include close-mindedness, reactionary adherence to tradition, judgmentalness, and a lack of adaptability. So I can be tradition-bound badness.

Re: Pity the poor monks
There is another way to do it.
Start at Lawful Good, max out the number of Monk levels you want in the build and then use the various quest to downgrade to taste. Useful if you like your Monks to be able to wear that nice little Vixen number from Level 15. |

Re: Pity the poor monks
Yes, but that doesn't have the same neatness of building as you intend.
