I have to say that I am cheering for the Aves, just so Borque gets his name on the cup. Too bad he couldn't get it in Boston.

Wow Keryvian. That will be incredible!!!!!!!!!
AAHH!
Have a fantastic time Keryvian!
GO AV'S GO!

This is why I talked my husband into getting season tickets in the first place, and why I talk him into renewing them every year. When you have season tickets, you can get all the playoff tickets.

Of course, this is also why we are going to be broke all summer, but it will be worth it. Go Avalanche!!!

The regular season starts in October. Not exactualy sure when but Oct. The coming season will break for 2 weeks in February so that the NHL players can play in the Olympics. Those will be great games.

So Awesome.
So Awesome.
Joe Sakic hands Ray Bourque the cup, holds it high...
Great game.
Patrick Roy the only person ever to win three Conn Smythe trophy's.
Wow...that was real nice to watch.

It was awesome. Pepsi Center was as wild as I have ever seen (or heard!) it. I think we all expected Joe Sakic to hand the cup right to Ray Bourque. I believe that Sakic wanted Bourque to be the one to accept the cup, but Bourque declined. It is tradition that the captain accept the cup. But Bourque was certainly willing to take it quickly. What a sight, to see him lift that cup, with tears on his face. I don't think that there was a dry eye in the house, but they were happy tears.

The only sad note of the evening, was that my VCR suffered some sort of mental breakdown, and didn't record the game. I think I can live with that.

Im so glad the Avs won. NOW everybody can shut up about Bourque not winning won and will her retire without a Cup. Thank god. I kinda felt a lil sorry for the guy not having won a cup, but he makes more money in a GAME than Ill see all year. how can you feel sorry for someone that makes THAT much money??? its not like hes homeless or has ebola.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY thank god its over.
