Difficulty question

I just beated the game on core settings. The final battles were just way to easy, Im starting over with an evil party an plan to put the difficulty to insane...will it still be dead easy or would I get a challenge? If not I'll wanna try out the tactics mod...

Try the tactics mod, and enable everything (inc. Imp Illyich). Illyich is considerably tougher, but I wont spoil your fun by telling you why. For even more challenge, Imp Illyich on Insane...while soloing...

Hmm yes I must admit that I'm really tempted to try the tactics mod...but the Improved Illiyich mod sounds a little scary, I've read a few post that could scare off anyone thinking of installing it...

Definately get Tactics. If you thought the battles were too easy, then prepare to be humbled. The best thing about tactics mod is that it comprises of twenty or so individual mods that are easy to install/uninstall. If you don't like i-ilyich, don't install that particular mod. Simple.

The battles, however, are not so simple.
