A lot of people are saying that it was one of companies that id Software cooperated with who was responsible for the leak.

There is a small thunderstorm going on over at Doomworld.com . The forum I usually haunt.

Domm III alpha is a very early version of Doom III. Alpha versions are unstable and not all that much like the full game - hence the reluctance to release them. This one sounds like its really early. If its for hardware designers it probably bears little resemblance to doom III itself.

IN general, anything before "beta" is not released to the public, and if it is, should not be considered a demo.

Ill wait for the Test Betas to come out. I should have more hardware by then, so I can give it a fair try out.

FPS can be very theraputic indeed, however as a main staple there boring, unless played online like quake. Nothing better then doing a little fragging

Doom III looks to be a stellar game for FPS's I'll wait a year or so to get mt copy however.
