A Stratigy for the Queen Crab...anyone?

I cant seem to be able to kill the Queen Crab. My Three people dont have enough resources to out last her. I can get her down to a yellow (almost red). I was thinking of Putting her to sleep and maybe swimming by. Will this work? I am using a warrior, priest/warlock, and rogue. all about L13/14

Hi Arvon!!

Well, eventually you are going to have to do her in whether you manage to by pass her for the moment or not.

Can you lead her back to someplace where she ultimately cannot follow you but your characters have access to some air and a chance to rest up before going at her again?

I always took my whole group with me to Collasium so never ended up having a real problem with her, but hopefully the above idea will work for you!

make sure you have your buff. spells up like haste, armor, bloodlust, holy might, etc. cast melt, slow on her if they work(i don't remember). then put your caster on defense to keep your fighters healthy.

when you say you are using a warrior and rogue, do you mean the original base classes? if so, that might be a reason why you are having some trouble(i.e. you are lacking the hit pts/fighting bonuses that come with the elite classes). the fight should still be doable however(i was able to do it with two, about the same level as yours, but they were pretty beefed, had multiple attacks and could both cast spells). don't forget to use mana potions/other potions if you have them too.

Thanks to you all. I found if I used my warlock to keep everyone healthy and just wailed the tar out of her I won. I'm now about 1/2 way throught the pryamid.

I found her easy to kill. I sat atop the 'shell' landing and whacked the stuffing out of her with my 3 characters. She couldn't even hit me!
