ok, i got the first two wrong.
but i want clarification on the third.
i got 2100
i want to know where you get 4100

here's my math
start with 0
0 - 1000 = -1000
-1000 + 40 = -960
-960 + 1000 = 40
40 + 30 = 70
70 + 1000 = 1070
1070 + 20 = 1090
1090 + 1000 = 2090
2090 + 10 = 2100

now of course i'm taking the wording " take first of all, 1000" to mean take away 1000

otherwise, it is 4100. i never got 5000 out of that

Got the first couple, missed the last. But then, I'm the kinda person who has trouble figuring a 15% tip at a restaurant. My wife just smirks, and tells me. I get even when she starts beating on the English language.

Good job, Vaskez.

I got the first one, but went down in flames on the last two.
