I'm finishing chap. 1 and was wondering what these items are for;Jacobs quill,Silver chalice of Moonbow,Torins ring,and Masterson Amulet?I did better this time through but still had these things hanging around any help? Thanks

I can only remember two of them:
Silver chalice of Moonbow: That is the item Linu (the cleric hireling ) is looking for, hire her and talk to her three times. Masterson's Amulet: It belongs to a guy named... Masterson. He is standing by the entrance of the Docks district with his wife and child

Torin's ring: assuming that you've talked to his brother (beggar's nest) it is useless Quill: give it to the cleric in the side room to the hall of Justice (he gives you the Never-quest and access pass to the brothel)
