I want to get Rid of Minsc because Now that my party is of High level around 18-20 He cant save his way out of a wet paper bag. I want to get rid of him and find Mazzy, but not sure where she is at after I turned down her offer to join. Also has anyone else taken in a new party member after they were already so high in XP?

Yes, I have done it on occasion, and it is annoying at first when they are much lower in level than the others, but once you do Watcher's Keep (re: your other question) or some other large quest they will even out soon enough.

After you've dismissed Mazzy in the Shade Lord's Ruins, you can find her in her home in Trademeet (just click on the map while in Trademeet and find the Fentan Home).

Oh, and every NPC can be good, it all depends on what you are looking for in a character. So guys, please, not another tired rehearsal about how Minsc kicks ass and all that. If the guy doesn't want to play with him, that's ok. It's all a matter of personal preference...

Mel, now this isnt funny anymore!
Everytime I want to help somebody, you are there before me. I click on the topic, saying that it is 0 replies, I enter, and what do I see?

So true.

Every NPC can, played to their strengths, be incredibly powerful and useful.

Even Garrick and Tiax. (Yes yes I know, but when I tried to think of a weak character in BG2 I couldn't)

I read the post about Minsc and I just have 1 thing to say, he is a good tank, but what I noticed is that the higher level he goes the more he cant save. Also, have any of you heard him say something like, "I keep on Dieing, Boo doesnt like this too much" or something like, that, It refers to him as always the first one that dies or at least should give an idication that he is going to be dieing alot.
