Quick Question Regarding Diablo 2

AHHHH!!!! The respond time is too slow in the Misc. CRPG Forum. I just need somebody to answer me this question, then I will delete this thread.

Do I type,
"players 8" or,
players 8 in order to simulate 8 players in a game?

I always typed players 8 without the " and i dont remenber where i read it but i'm pretty sure that's the right way.

Uhmm forgive my ignorance, but I have never done that in Diablo II,
let alone any other cheat's. What's it do ?

It makes the game harder when u are playing by urself... but I'm not sure if it works in single or only in multiplayer, or it's the other way around... anyway i don't play that game in a looooooong time so just try it in both multi and single and we'll see.

Yep leave out the " and youll be cool. you might want to try it on players 3 or players 4 first though. Depending on level of course.

Whew... I badly needed to know because it is the only way to reliably level up to level 99 in Singleplayer. [img]smile.gif[/img]

As for starting with 3-4... well... I really need the Xp and both my Necromancer and Sorcerer are cruising on 8, thanks to Iron Golem and Glacial Orb respectively. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I will most probably reduce it back to 1 when I fight the Act End Bosses though... ...
