I totally agree. Todays games are too much alike. Arx is the game that stands out, as Ziroc siad, it´s great! I have played through Divine once and it didn´t give me that much pleasure. It seems developers refine old games instead of composing new. There are some interesting games coming though. As a W&W fan I´m pleased that D.W. Bradley is releasing a new game. In the mean time, you can still play older games can´t you?

Arkane Studios is the developper.

Thanks for the responses. I really think I am just bored with the CRPG scene right now. In part, because so much is recycled. And possibly because the "once dead" genre is full and I've played too much.

I will give Lionheart and Arx Fatalis a shot, but I'm going to wait a few months and play Civilization III and Medieval:Total War.

Anyone here from Vesselle? I haven't seen or heard from her in five months. Even my last two e-mails weren't responded to.

If you find those games boring, have patience in Bioware, and wait for 3 years or so.
