Sigs: Yes, no, or just once in a while?

I like Donut's sig. It seems like the epitome of smugness after a post. I want a sig with a chicken turned into roast meat. Maybe then I will be smug too.

I like sigs because they allow me to quickly scroll down a thread I've posted on to read all comments after mine - that sort of thing.

BUT I find lots of moving graphics (which is hard on dial-up users) and lines and lines of text very annoying at the same time. In favour of 1 picture and 1 sentence as a sig!

I'd prefer it if sigs were smaller in general, the pics being only 100 by 100 pixels with one line of text or something like that. I do see Vaskez' point in the whole discussion. Sometimes it gets hard to make out what's post and what's sig.

I don't like the massive 8 liner sigs, but for the most part, I like them. Especially mine

You actually missed out the option I suggested! Only include sig when it is longer than the actual post. I know you put "only after long posts" but that's not the same! You've gone and ruined the poll now, we'll have to start a new one! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
