Ok, it's been a while since I've played and I've picked up the game once again...

Anyways, I'm having a hard time finding this notation that Rangers get an extra attack per round with a bow. Looked through the manual, online, in game, and I'm not seeing it. Could anyone help me with a link or detail where it says that?

I'm starting to wonder if I've made a mistake with mine now because of it since I gave him specialization in crossbow. Easy enough to fix with Dalekeeper if I did, but I'm really wondering now.

Eh? Rangers get an extra attack when using a single-handed weapon without using a shield, not with a bow.

ahh, nevermind. I realize what I did was misread when you wrote this:

Quote:
As you are only allowed to place 3* in any missile weapon, the specialisation limit of the Ranger is not so bad. You miss out on a +1 damage bonus, a -2 THACO bonus and nothing more.
and mistook it as saying that you could put 3 * into archery on rangers. nevermind.

heh, should be going to bed anyways, but Ive been spending way to much time trying to figure out where to fit in a bard on my party that's 1/2 way through the game already. Talk about a waste of effort.
