How many people here have actually played Fallout Tactics?
I think its an incredible game but I'm at a point where the supermutants are kicking my arse in superior numbers every time and I cant exit the mission to build up my characters.. And what do you guys who have played the game think about it? I'm trying to find other people that have actually played it since I dont know anyone who has. ------------------ Why? |

Get it! I think it's pretty good fun.
Its just too bad it runs slowly on my shite PC, but I can't bear to turn off the pretty graphics options.. ------------------ Why? |

I've got it but my computer's too crap to run it.
You need a 300Mhz Pentium 2 and 750Mb of HD space MINIMUM, and I miss out on the hard drive space (not willing to uninstall BG2 ) I'm currently playing Fallout 2. Got it for $10. ------------------ |

I've got a pentium 333 and I had about 1.3 gig to install it with but it didnt let me use to standard install option (1.2 gig)
Wierd. I figured that a fallout game couldnt possibly be THAT hardware intensive. Boy was I wrong.. ------------------ Why? |

I played Fallout 2, and really liked that, but I haven't played FO:T.
I suppose I am a little like The Dawg - its on my list of games that I want to play when I finish school this year. ------------------ "Watch your back" |

Turn based strategy games are a dying breed, unfortunatly.

Only played the two first scenarios, but I played them both in Demo and in real game and I like it! And strategy is best in Turn mode IMHO..

Strategy and control is best in turn-based, I agree, but it just doesnt beat the action you get in real time. Leading a super mutant around a corner to stare into my Pancor Jackhammer and watch his pieces fly give me a strange inner tingle akin to feeding fish. To other fish.
Anyone else ever play this game? And dreamer is right, they ARE a dying breed, and its unfortunate because I could never find myself being so engrossed in a realtime strat game like red Alert. I just don't like that sort of thing. ------------------ Why? |
