1024 x 768 if i'm desktopping. 800 x 600 if i'm gaming. I prefer silky smooth gaming over crisp jerkiness any day.

1280 x 1024 @75HZ. The refresh rate is more important to me than the resolution. 60Hz and bellow hurt my eyes.

1024 X 768 is just right for me especially when I'm gaming.

Wow mine is unique... 1152x864
And I keep the refresh rate at 80Hz or whatever more my monitor (19"CRT flatscreen) can handle. That was my old PC though. Right now I'm limited to what internet cafes offer... EDIT: oh and my laptop is 1024x768, 60Hz [ 03-09-2006, 02:22 PM: Message edited by: ZFR ]

The 'nice' resolution for me depends largely on how big your monitor is:
15' = 800x600 17' = 1200x700 (my current) 19' = 1200x1000 (me brudders, the lower resolutions look too big on those screens) I keep my refresh rate at 85 Hz, my wife can 'see' the refreshing with 60. Ingame I tend to use lower refresh rates because it seems to have influence on how fast my game runs. And I'll echo some wise words: 'I prefer silky smooth gaming over crisp jerkiness any day.'

1280x1024 because that's the native resolution of my monitor. Running at 60Hz, not that this is particularly important for an LCD.
