Here's Another One, It's A Little Dark But Hey, Thats How I Was Shmeggin Feeling At The Time. Let Me Know What You Think Of It, I Hope You Like It.
DEMONS

The demons awaken from their graves
Depression, Hatred, Doubt, and Rage.
Assail my spirit, brain, and heart
Their talons poised to rip me apart.

Depression says that I'm worthless
End it all to live is pointless.
I've felt the caress of the blade on my skin
Did not go deep for then he would win.

Hatred steps in, my vision goes red
Kill him, kill him, in my mind he's dead.
Shaking, sobbing, my senses go numb
How could I kill him, then he'd have won.

Doubt comes forward, and fills my brain
no one can ever know my pain.
Showing me the image of that terrible face
The awful memories I can ner erase.

Rage consumes me in the end
all my thought are his to bend.
My soul is tormented by all this pain
I'll be fine for awhile, till the cycle starts again.

Nice work fellow feline, this is one of my favourites...

The Flea - John Donne

MARK but this flea, and mark in this,
How little that which thou deniest me is ;
It suck'd me first, and now sucks thee,
And in this flea our two bloods mingled be.
Thou know'st that this cannot be said
A sin, nor shame, nor loss of maidenhead ;
Yet this enjoys before it woo,
And pamper'd swells with one blood made of two ;
And this, alas ! is more than we would do.

O stay, three lives in one flea spare,
Where we almost, yea, more than married are.
This flea is you and I, and this
Our marriage bed, and marriage temple is.
Though parents grudge, and you, we're met,
And cloister'd in these living walls of jet.
Though use make you apt to kill me,
Let not to that self-murder added be,
And sacrilege, three sins in killing three.

Cruel and sudden, hast thou since
Purpled thy nail in blood of innocence?
Wherein could this flea guilty be,
Except in that drop which it suck'd from thee?
Yet thou triumph'st, and say'st that thou
Find'st not thyself nor me the weaker now.
'Tis true ; then learn how false fears be ;
Just so much honour, when thou yield'st to me,
Will waste, as this flea's death took life from thee.

Here's one by Robert Frost ...

Some say the world will end in fire
Others say in ice
from what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But I think I know enough of hate
to say that for destruction is also great
and would suffice

One last poem that I wrote, then I'm off to bed. This one is called
The Darkness
The darkness has come for me.
I run, to hide, to escape, to breath.
But it knows and follows
Feeding on my building terror
Wherever I turn Its there
Larger, colder, and blacker than ever.
Man cannot run forever
The Darkness always is victorious.
I stop to fight.
To deny The Darkness the thrill of the hunt.
Like a rampaging demon it strikes
Chilling inky talons caress my flesh.
Until the darkness consumes my mortal husk.

OK, theres one poem that I cant remember the words to that I do think deserves to be posted here... noone who has not lived in Australia seems to have heard of it... so I am looking for help with the words from Aussies... so Memnoch, Yorrick, Glorfindel, Shadowhound, Dagorion, Aelia, and Azzy (i *think* thats all there is... ).. Banjo Patersons Waltzing Matilda ... to tide you guys over until someone can put Waltzing Matilda... a poem thaat was in one of my english novels last year... a Robert Frost.

Natures first green is gold,
Her hardest hew to hold,
He early leafs a flower,
But only so an hour,
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
As dawn subsides to day,
Nothing gold can stay.
