From my previous post you'll see that I've just purchased BG2 SoA+ToB.
I've done a complete 180 degrees in my thinking: I thought it wasn't going to be anywhere near as good as Planescape Torment, but I've been proved completely wrong!
It's great! It seems that Black Isle have listened to the feedback from BG1 and put in the one thing that seemed to be missing from it: character interaction.
I haven't progressed far, but from what I've seen this game was well worth buying.

Yep, you're absolutely right. BG2 is MUCH better then PS:T, and is maybe the best RPG ever made.
Great thing of you to buy the game, and if you need any help, you know where to come.

PS:T is a lot better than BG2, because it has an original story, and up until the end you don't really know what is happening.

I could resume BG2 in one line: Some freak want to take over the world but you kill him.

The first 2 min of the game tell you all the story. There is a bad guy called irenicus and he must be stoped. There is also the part about who is a bhallspawn (you know what i mean). I found the bhallspawn part 3 mins after starting the game.
